Lorena Mercado

Lorena brings more than twenty years of teaching experience across three countries and is bilingual in Spanish and English. She holds a Bachelor of Education in Primary Education (K–6), graduate certificates in Secondary Education (grades 7–12) and Classic Literature, and a Master of Arts in Writing. Her recent work includes upper-elementary language arts at an independent Seattle school serving gifted and twice-exceptional learners, and she was selected last year as an Educational Leader with 826 Digital. As Advisory Coordinator, she strengthens the connection and belonging students feel as they move through the upper grades.
