Extended Day: Before & After School (Mañanitas & TICA)
For families who need care before or after the school day, Amistad offers extended day programs that keep the same warm, bilingual community going beyond regular hours.
Before school — Mañanitas
Amistad's before-school program, Mañanitas, opens at 7:30 AM so families have a caring, bilingual space for children to arrive early, settle in, and start the day with breakfast and community before class begins.
After school — TICA
Amistad's after-school program, TICA, runs until 5:30 PM with supervised care, activities, and connection for K-8 students once the school day ends.

Afternoons in our after-school program (TICA) look like this: snacks, homework, and long stretches of unhurried time where a thousand-piece puzzle becomes a group project. Same teachers, same two languages, slower pace.
