Erika Gaona

Erika is already a familiar face at Amistad — she completed her degree internship here and worked with our students in TICA, our after-school program. A graduate of the University of Washington with a B.A. in Education, Communities and Organizations and a minor in Spanish, she was a Ronald E. McNair Scholar and a repeat Dean's List honoree, and is now pursuing a master's in education policy. A holder of the Seal of Biliteracy, Erika brings the blend of academic excellence, joy, and belonging we want every child to experience. ¡Bienvenida, Maestra Erika!
