Little Learners

18–36 Months · Crisálidas

Chrysalides — Crisálidas in Spanish — is a fitting name for this stage of transformation, as toddlers grow from first words into full sentences, all in Spanish.

Toddlers in Crisálidas are bursting with new words, new independence, and new curiosity — and the classroom is built to match. Days include sensory play, music and movement, outdoor exploration, and small-group activities, all led in Spanish so children continue absorbing vocabulary through hands-on experience.

Full immersion continues to be the foundation: teachers respond, redirect, and encourage entirely in Spanish, even as toddlers begin experimenting with English words they hear at home. This is a season of rapid language growth, and our teachers meet each child exactly where they are.

Families can expect a classroom rich in routine — consistent meal, nap, and play schedules — alongside the flexibility toddlers need as they test new skills, from walking and climbing to their first two-word phrases in Spanish.
