Learning in Motion: Capoeira with Silvio Dos Reis
Capoeira brought music, movement, rhythm, and history into our classrooms, inviting students to learn through culture, language, and joy. Through clapping, singing, observing, and stepping into the roda—yes, even our baby capoeiristas—students experienced Afro-Brazilian heritage in a way that felt alive, connected, and deeply Amistad.
