Waiting Pool:
For families in our waiting pool, we consider the desired start date and several other factors. It is important to our mission to have our classrooms balanced in terms of language, and we enroll students who match the spots available. For example, if we have a PreK class with more Spanish-speaking students, we may hold a spot for an English-speaking student in order to maintain a balanced classroom. For that reason, we do not have a list that is first-come, first-served. Instead, we look at the class profile and which students would help to keep it balanced.
