In our K-5 program, our students develop a solid literacy base in Spanish, and transition from a 90% Spanish/10% English day in K and 1st, to a 50%/50% day by 5th grade. Our goals are for children to have a solid academic foundation and to become fully bilingual, bi-literate, and at the same time with an awareness of the different cultures and ways of life that the language brings. We combine best practices in child development, literacy, and language acquisition in our comprehensive work with children. Our math and science curriculum is highly experiential, incorporating concepts and language development across disciplines.
